Now that I have been shooting for a while I have made all of the dumb mistakes, so because of this I want you to learn from it. Although I still tend to make the mistake of leaving my tripod.
And a lot of the time it was on purpose because I didn’t want to carry it or I just straight up for got it. Either way if this happens to you these few tips can help you. first, if it is dark and your camera’s shutter speed is very slow I suggest that you try to bump up the ISO as high as you can. And then you should try hold the camera straight out from your body with the strap around your neck. The reason I suggest you do this is that the camera will stay much more steady. Also, using the camera strap to keep the camera steady is super useful if you are using your DSLR to film and you don’t have a tripod.
The last suggestion that I will give for forgetting a tripod is to just find something steady to set you camera on. And after set the camera to timer mode so that you have enough time to take your hands off the camera so that there will not be and shake in the image. Also, do not worry about if the place you are setting your camera it uneven because that can always be fixed in Photoshop. So now that I have given you my tip I hope this helps you in a pinch like it has for me!
